Advisory Board

The MedsFile.com Advisory Board is made up of medical and community leaders. It is a network of experts who have agreed to give the company meaningful help, and to provide counsel and advice on a regular basis in many different areas, including medical information, patient information, technology, policy, and outreach. The members’ abilities, experience, and knowledge were selected for how they complement the organization as a whole.

The Board advises the Executive Committee in its strategic decision-making processes. The Board has no governance or fiduciary responsibility and focuses solely on helping the company achieve it goals. Sometimes questions are posed to the whole group, and sometimes individual members are consulted. They share an on-going active dialog with the Committee, and meet twice a year in a more formal setting. They are chosen not as a "list of names", but as a group of people MedsFile.com intends to interact with regularly.

The Board’s professional skills are useful in allowing the company to consider and analyze opportunities without the expense of employing full time professionals. MedsFile.com is proud to share information about each of the Board members with our customers, and the Board members are encouraged to share the MedsFile.com service with their contacts.

The Advisory Board is chaired by MedsFile.com President and Founder, Mark Holland. Under his leadership, the Board will always act in a discretionary and professional manner.

The Advisory Board committee is lead by Dr. Brett Silverman.

Brett Silverman, DDS, MAGD Dr. Silverman practices cosmetic, sports and general dentistry with an emphasis in full mouth reconstruction. He is in private practice with Lawrence M. Saltzman, DDS, FICCMO, in Duluth, Georgia. Dr. Silverman attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and earned early acceptance to dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1995. That same year, he relocated to Georgia and began his practice. Dr. Silverman is active in a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association; the Georgia Dental Association; Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity; Seattle Study Club; Northside Dental Study Club; the Academy for Sports Dentistry and the NHL Team Physician Association. He is the official team dentist for both the Atlanta Thrashers and SEC Championship Basketball and Football. Dr. Silverman remains the youngest member ever inducted into the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration. He also currently serves as president of the NHL Team Dentist Association. Dr. Silverman has been recognized for excellence in the dentistry profession; he earned a Fellow (FAGD) in 2002 and a prestigious Master (MAGD) in 2006 from the Academy of General Dentistry.
